JFrog Raises $165 Million
Code management startup JFrog Ltd. announced Thursday the completion of a $165 million funding round led by New York-based Insight Venture Partners.
Jeff Horing, co-founder and managing director will join JFrog’s Board. The secured funding will drive JFrog product innovation, support rapid expansion into new markets and accelerate both organic and inorganic growth.
Joining Insight Venture Partners in the latest investment round were new investors Silicon Valley funds Spark Capital and Geodesic Capital, as well as existing investors including Battery Ventures, Sapphire Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, Dell Technologies Capital and Vintage Investment Partners. Additional JFrog investors include JFrog Gemini VC Israel, Qumra Capital and VMware.
JFrog Founded in 2008 by Shlomi Ben Haim, Yoav Landman, and Frederic Simon. The firm is privately held with offices in Israel, North America, Europe, and Asia.
JFrog develops tools designed to streamline the coding process and automate software updates. The company reports over 4,500 customers including Amazon, Google, Bank of America, Facebook, Netflix, Uber, VMware, and Spotify. Since its previous funding round in 2016, it increased sales by more than 500%, the company said. Thursday’s investment brings JFrog’s total equity raised to around $230 million.
